My Month in Kenya

My month in Kenya, Africa was wrought with contradictions: hot – cold, loved – used, beauty – tragedy, joy – sadness, hope – despair, laughter – tears, isolation - embraced, song – sorrow, robbed - gifted, city – nature, family – guest, targeted – appreciated, stagnant – movement, heart ache – heart growth, praising – cursing, knowing – questioning, hellos – goodbyes, teaching – learning, love and love so deep it hurts.

For the 33 days I spent in Kenya, I will do my best to transcribe my journals and bring you 33 blog reflections of the above contradictions. Without a camera, I was bound to my words.  May it be a blessed new year!
